The You are Amazing and so is Your Blog Award!

by - 6:48 PM

Thank-you to the lovely Gwen from Alone in Doll World for nominating me for this award! :)

(This is my first award ever, so we'll see how this goes. Probably not well. Cross your fingers. :) )

The Rules:

1. Copy and paste these rules on to your award post.

2. Come up with at least 5 fun questions for your nominees to answer.

3. Nominate at least 5 people who you think are amazing and have an amazing blog.

4. List at least one reason why you appreciate the people you nominated.

5. Put this award on your sidebar or award/tag page if you were nominated.

6. Leave a comment on your nominees' blogs letting them know they've been nominated.

Okay, now for the questions from Gwen (things are going well so far):

1. What is your happy place?
I'm actually quite imaginative - my house is my head. So I would say anywhere I created or went in my mind - probably Erebor.
But if you mean a "real" (grrrrrr I hate reality) place, I would probably say my grandmother's apartment. It always smells like sausage soup or tomato soup ('cause she cooks a lot of soup), and I love the smell of those things, plus it's so relaxing there because we always just have tea, radish sandwiches, and homemade honey-oatmeal cookies and then read our favorite books. It's especially nice after a long, stressful school day. :)

2. Favorite dessert?
Beorn's Honey-Cake. I actually baked a fan recipe for that once and, even though it wasn't sweet and turned out soggy in the middle, it was still super good. Yums!! :)

3. Kale: "Yum!", "Gross!" or "What on Earth is kale?"
I wouldn't say gross, I'd say soggy. 'Cause the way my dad makes it makes it turn out soggy and flavorless. That's why I've always preferred bok choy :)

4. Why do people care so much about football?
I have absolutely no idea. Absolutely none. It's dangerous and kills people. It KILLS people. HOW COULD ANYONE LIKE THAT???

5. Sunrises or sunsets?
Sunsets. Sunsets where I live are always glorious and brightly colored with purple and orange and streaks of red and pink. But sunrises are just really faint, watery yellow glows - highly anticlimactic. :(

OK, got through that part without much incident (except maybe my little rant on football). Now for my questions!

1. Have you ever pushed on a door that says pull or pulled on a door that says push?

2. Have you ever accidentally locked yourself in a room?

4. Have you ever been in a public place, saw some statues, thought they were real people, and started talking to them whilst everyone around you sees this and thinks you're mentally unstable? ('Cause that's happened to me before. Twice.)

5. When you open your closet door, are you afraid that a black torrent of nothingness and despair will suck you down into an eternal torment from which there is no escape?

Rylee at When I Dream: I love the Tolkien/Jack Sparrow (<3) discussions (*cough*FANGIRL FEELS SESSIONS*cough*) we always have.

Maddie at DollsOnMyMind: You are so freakin' nice and understand the awesomeness that is green pullover sweaters (this coming from a girl whose fave clothing piece for herself is a green pullover sweater).

Saige at A Doll's Life: Your posts are always so unique and fun and super inspiring.

Adi at The Halfling Writer: Appreciates the beauty that is chocolate cupcakes. Understands how frustrating it is when people pronounce Tolkien's languages wrong. Also likes PotC.

Dollympics547 (idk if she gives out her real name so there) at AG for Everyone: Such sweet comments and MAN DO YOU GIVE GOOD REVIEWS ON YOUR BLOG.

All right, y'all, that's it for today, remember that you are all EXTREMELY beautiful pickles, and do have a lovely night.
