My Top 10 Favorite Series on AGTube as of February 2015 and WHAT THE HECK

I am an especially huge fan of series and movies on AGTube, and the other day I was thinking back over series I really like when I thought, Why not make a list of them and post it on the blog? So here it is! :D

*These are in order from like less to like most. The name of the AGTuber who did the series is in parentheses beside the series title.*

10. The Ballerina Project (girloftheyearstudios)

This series, although it has a somewhat run-of-the-mill theme, actually has several very interesting characters (like Lila and Blaire) and quite surprising plot twists that take it above and beyond the classic new-girl-tries-to-fit-in-at-fancy-ballet-studio idea.

9. Making It (girloftheyearstudios)

Although this series lacks the quality of Ali's later works, it still has that old-AGTube-style charm and is quite addicting:

8. The Realm of Arragara (AGsmiless)

First and foremost, the settings and scenery in this series are absolutely superb. Secondly, the relationship between Seth and Lena is incredibly heart-rending and well-done, plus Sabie is amazingly quirky and funny. :)

7. Playing with Fire (rockstar13studios)

This is a fairly new series (as of right now, only four episodes are out), but the quality so far has been excellent. There's a very good buildup of suspense, well-done drama, and a little bit of magic artfully thrown in.

Blogger is being stupid and not letting me add the video to this post, so click here to be taken to it. :)

6. Just Jane (agprincess013)

Jane. Is. Just. The. Funniest. Person. Ever. She is so incredibly bratty yet in the best way. In fact, all the characters are quite amazing: Liberty so sweet, Bev hilariously dumb, and all the trouble Jane gets into is just the best......<3

*Note: this series is a sequel to Me, Mandy, another series by agprincess013 that is not nearly as good and therefore not on this list. However, in order to understand what's going on in Just Jane, it would be best to watch a few episodes of Me, Mandy or read a synopsis of it somewhere before you dive into Just Jane.*

5. Spy High (AGmagical13)

This series is quite suspenseful and full of mystery, plus the characters are all very quirky and fun. :) The vid quality is super high, and there are also lots of layers to the conflicts. Definitely a must-watch.

4. Roomies (AmericanGirlTown)

The interactions between the characters are super well-done and hilarious, and the situations they find themselves in very relatable. :) I feel like this series doesn't get near the buzz it deserves.

Blogger being stupid again: click here, please. :D

3. Aspen Heights (AGsmiless)

Do I really need to explain why? :)

I think the main reasons I enjoy this show are all the suspense and mystery and the fact that the boy drama is very well done. I am a huge fan of boy drama in shows and movies (yup, gettin' my Typical White Girl on) if it is done well ('cause otherwise it just turns out.....ya know.....like Twilight), and that in Aspen Heights certainly is. Plus, the character development is superb - how many of you went from hating Livia's guts in the first season to pitying her from the bottom of your soul now? And how many of you are absolutely torn in two about Lenny? (well, I am.)

2. Chrissa's Crazy Adventures (7cutekitten7)

HOLY CHEESE HOW NOT. HOW NOT. HOW FREAKIN' NOT. HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THIS SHOW.

Chrissa is super witty, funny, and random in the very best of ways. :D Her show is absolutely incredible and literally leaves me rolling around on my couch laughing hyper loudly:

1. Girl Code (xKambreenKitx)

Girl Code follows the adventures of Michigan Tate as she navigates her way through sixth grade. She is constantly badgered by her quite hilarious nemesis, Kira Yoshi, and always accompanied by Michaela Webb, her really wacky and somewhat (okay, very) strange "best friend". Michigan's a super relatable character with super relatable problems, including boy drama and mean rumors, but the series isn't depressing at all - the comedy in it is amazing and very artfully done. The episode where she gets locked in a gym with Kira is extremely hilarious, as is the one where Kira's cousin comes to visit. Girl Code has three seasons. Here's the pilot:

So, yeah, those are my top ten favorite series on AGTube! :) Comment down below if you watch any of these and what your favorite doll series are! :)

Also, may I just say......

OMG WHAT THE HECK *faints*

I have ten followers.

Ten.

Freakin'.

Followers.

That means there are ten people out there who like what I do and care to listen to me on occasion. That thought is just so unreal to me. I can't even put this into words - I feel like such a doofus.

Like......ten?

Ten people?

Ten living, breathing people actually care about something I have to say.

I'm in shock right now. I can't even speak coherently.

I think I just want to say thank you. Thank you to every single one of you who follows me. Thank you to anyone who ever takes the time to comment - even if you don't follow. Thank you to anyone who reads this blog, even if you don't follow or comment. Thank you to Adi, Many Marigolds, and Gwen, for being such funny, supportive friends and always being there. Thank you to Ry, always and evermore, for being one of my closest friends on here and being amazing. And thank you most of all to Reagan - I don't know where I'd be without you.

And I want to express how much you all mean to me, how much the fact that there are people who read my little ramblings and rants means, how much you've all made this mean. Somehow that is greater than almost any friendship I could make.

I love you all. Remember that you are always ultra incredible, super amazing, and downright perfect pickles. <3

Thank you.

Namarië,
Ellie

  3. Thank you for introducing me to the universe. 0_o
    I thought of something.
Is there another outlet for AG?
    Did agtube come after blogs?
Would that make AGtube the final frontier?
AGtube: the final frontier; these are the voyages of the starship Gwenterprise and its continuing mission to explore strange new fandoms, to search out new blogs and AG stopmotions, to boldly go where Ellie has gone before.

They're really great, all of them - but I don't advise watching Chrissa's unless you have a lot of time on your hands, because you'll want to go back and watch all 40+ of her videos. She's incredible :)
