Songs I've Been Loving in April 2015

Let us commence :).

"Seamless" by Sabrina Carpenter

"I
know
all your secrets,
and I promise you I'm gonna keep them.
I'll
be
there
when you
are feeling clueless.
You and me,
oh, yeah, we're seamless."

OK SO HER ALBUM OF AWESOMENESS CAME OUT THIS MONTH AND I'VE BEEN LISTENING TO IT NON-STOP AND I JUST. I love how deep and full her voice is, and there're some lovely melodies in here. <3

"Darling, I'm a Mess" by Sabrina Carpenter

"Yeah, I'll try to make our hearts beat in time,
Even though your rhythm might not be with mine,
But, Darling, I'm a mess."

As much as I adore the other, this one has to be my fave new one off the album <3.

"Centuries" by Fall Out Boy

"Some legends are told,
Some turn to dust or to gold,
But you will remember me.
Remember me
For centuries."

BUT ELLIE YOU POSTED ABOUT FOB LAST TIME well too bad my fandom immersion has continued into April and y'all are just gonna have to deal ;).

The lyrics are gorgeous, as is Patrick's voice. <3 And that video people.

Someone tell me why it hasn't been made into a full-length movie.

IT NEEDS TO BE MADE INTO A FULL-LENGTH MOVIE.

:)

Also I think I'm kind of falling in love with this guy:

THAT FACE THOUGH.

I want to give it a hug :).

Well Adi and Ry I hope you're happy with yourselves

"Style" by Taylor Swift

"'Cause you got that James Dean
Daydream
Look in your eye,
And I got that red lip
Classic
Thing that you like.
And when we go crashing down,
We come back every time.
'Cause we never go out of style,
We never go out of style."

Ok, so I'm usually not into Taylor Swift that much. I think she's fairly talented, but the genres of country and 80s pop have never really appealed to me. However, this song definitely hooked me. I think it was a combination of the amazing lyrics and extreme catchiness. But, whatever it was, I was listening to this on repeat for about a week straight. :)

"All I Want is Everything" by Victoria Justice (and all those other Victorious people)

"We're heading for the sky,
And we'll get lost in it 'cause
All I want
All I want
All I want is everything."

I absolutely loved this song in fourth or fifth grade, and I stumbled across it again the other day. Memories, man. <3 I still think it has to be one of my all-time favorite songs.

Well, there you have it! :) The songs I've been loving this month. What songs have you been listening to? Comment below! :)

  1. *giggles bc I sucked you into the fandom*
Patrick Stump is adorable though. He *is* an angel, and he certainly has the voice of one. I'm very happy that you're enjoying delving into Fall Out Boy. ^-^
As for songs I've been loving this month... Fairly Local by Twenty One Pilots is one I'm seriously addicted to. From Finner (Of Monsters and Men), Weighted (frnkiero & the cellabration), Trapdoor (Twenty One Pilots), 20 Dollar Nose Bleed (Fall Out Boy) & This Is How I Disappear (My Chemical Romance) are all others that I've been obsessed with.
    Didn't intend for the list to be that long but oh well. :}

  2. Lovely songs, I've only ever heard Centuries out of all these, but I made sure to listen to the others. ;)
Oh gosh, what have *I* been listening to? The list could go on forever. This was a dangerous question Ellie.

WELL, I guess if I just had to choose a few they'd be:
1.) Go Go Go by Sleeping With Sirens
2.) Love Like War by All Time Low (ft. Vic Fuentes)
3.) Antarctica by Hands Like Houses
4.) Gravity by Against the Current
5.) Gotta Get Out by 5 Seconds of Summer

that was hard but oh well.
I bet now you regret asking. ;)

  3. Centuries and the one by Taylor swift are actually the only songs I've heard. And I've only heard the Taylor swift one once or twice before. They're really good though. Hmmmm I don't know if I have a favorite song at the moment but I do really like Miss Jackson by Panic! At the Disco.

  4. OH MY GOSH SABRINA CARPENTER YESSSS!
I love all her songs, especially Darling, I'm a mess!
And Style's amazing too. I like Taylor Swift too. She's the only artist one of my friends will play: She has a dream that Taylor and her will ride off with a unicorn into the sunset.
Honestly, I only listen to music I'm dancing to for my performances I have coming up so I can mentally rehearse.

  5. I have heard most of these songs, they are great! I remember All I Want is Everything (my friend used to be obsessed with Victorious and kept quoting it, and the songs.) I have been listening to Young Volcanoes by Fall Out Boy, Take a Walk by Passion Pit and This is Gospel by Panic! At the Disco.

  6. I'm that weirdo kid that would rather listen to old classical music and revel in the composers' tragic life stories then the popular new songs. But. Yep. No shame.
Otherwiseeee I like Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, All the Oldies(Simon and Garfunkel, Allman Brothers) and I am really really sorry to admit Frank Sinatra has been my friend since childhood(not that I'm overly old MIND YE.)

*I am sorry to say that is an understatement.
