Taylor Davis

A while ago I posted about one of my favorite music duos, and y'all seemed to like that. Recently I figured, "Why not do another musical artist post?" So today I'm going to be introducing you all to Taylor Davis.

Taylor Davis
That's her.
Taylor Davis is a violinist/composer/arranger who operates mainly from her YouTube channel. She specializes mainly in video game music but also does covers and originals. If you like violins, Lindsey Stirling, or instrumentals (especially epic), you'll almost certainly like her. Here are some of my faves from her, covers and originals. I beg you to at least listen to the first original ("Reflections") and the first cover ("The Hanging Tree").

1. Reflections

2. Nebulous

3. Awakening

1. The Hanging Tree

2. The Last Goodbye

3. He's a Pirate

Well, I think that's all for today! Comment below if you like Taylor Davis, or think you might, and what your favorite song of hers is. :) Have a lovely day, and remember that you are all beautiful pickles!

  1. I've listened to some of her songs(found her while reveling in The Last Goodbye covers on YouTube) and I think she does a really nice job!

  2. Taylor sounds really nice.
I especially love the hanging tree.

  3. Wow, she's really good.
Idk if I can choose a favorite....probably the hanging tree. I always liked that song although I always hated it in the book though because I wanted to know how it sounded. I guess audio books do that but it's just not the same.

    1. IKR!
Same with me and that one song Katniss sang to Rue before she died. Rue's Lullaby I think it's called.

  4. Wow, I love listening to Taylor Davis, especially her originals. I found her a couple months ago and have been hooked on her music ever since.

By the way, you have an awesome blog!

  5. Mmm hmmm I like this violin stuff.
Awakening took an interesting turn- I'm not sure what it was- were some sections of it major and the rest was minor?
Either way, I am very fond of these, thought I notice that she dosent jump around nearly as much as Lindsey Stirling.
What album would you recommend if I was to buy some of her stuff on iTunes?

    1. I don't know, but I find I quite like it.
Probably "Legendary Movie Music". It's an album she did of covers of really famous movie soundtracks. There's something for everyone, since the album spans multiple genres. "He's a Pirate" is on there, as are "Lux Aeterna" and "Hedwig's Theme" (both of which are extremely good and almost got included on this post except I didn't want to overwhelm you with too many songs at once).

  6. Her violin looks AMAZING! One of my friends was playing her music the other day.

Thank you for your comment :) they make my day. Feedback is always welcome.
