The "Good Friend Blog" Award! (2)

Thank you so much to the awesome Gwen for this award! *hugs* Love you.

Ze rules:

1. Choose 3+ bloggers you love and agree are amazing bloggers!

2. Ask them 3+ questions.

3. Post on your blog.

Gwen's questions:

1. How much energy does it take to power a time machine?
I have no idea.
Guess I'm not traveling back to the Revolution to see Tavington any time soon.
:P.

2. What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen sparrow?
SO I LOOKED THIS UP.
BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS A MATHEMATICAL EQUATION OR SOMETHING.
AND IT TURNS OUT.
IT'S FROM MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL.
WHICH IS A MOVIE I WANT TO WATCH.
SO.
THIS IS EXCITING.
I SHALL LEARN SOMETHING NEW WHEN I WATCH THE MOVIE.
I think. Does it actually say what it is, or use it as a joke, or both?
*silly Ellie overthinks everything*

3. Who killed Inigo Montoya's father? Should they prepare to die?
Probably Thranduil. He's killed enough innocents already.
And yes. He should prepare to die. He should be prepared to be skinned alive and scalped and have his tongue and eyes cut out and his fingernails pulled out and have the bloody eagle performed on him.

4. What is crewman number 6 used for?
Death, and death only. To be a completely random, expendable character who dies to show the gravity of the situation. At least, I think that's what it is.

5. Name the movie for each above reference.
Doesn't know.
MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL idk if it counts though because I didn't know beforehand.
Doesn't know.
Doesn't know (wow am I lame) I only know the popular culture/dictionary slang meaning because my mother explained it to me once when someone was called a "crewman number 6" in a movie we were watching.

Since I did this award before and nominated people, I don't think I'll specifically nominate anyone this time. However, if you'd like to do this award, consider yourself nominated! :) Here are some questions for you to answer.

1. Worst song you've ever heard?

2. Favorite YouTuber/AGTuber? If you don't watch the YouTubes, favorite celebrity?

3. Do you prefer wrapped gifts or gift bags?

4. Last thing you bought?

5. Last song that got stuck in your head?

Well, I think that's it for now! :) Thank you again so much, Gwen. Everyone have a lovely rest of your day, and REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL PICKLES.

Namarië,
Ellie

  1. Idk what to comment so I shall answer your questions here.
Hmmmm well the worst song I've ever heard is probably the misty mornings or moist misty mornings or whatever it's called. (Not the misty mountains one but the actual mornings one from music)
    Probably Dan and Phil
Probably wrapped gifts. It's so much more fun to tear the wrapping paper off than digging through a bag.
The last thing I bought (I think) was either these little worry dolls or soap.
Unfortunately the last song stuck in my head was the little Einstein's song. ITTT'S EVVVEEERRYYYWWWHHEERRREEE.

    1. OKAY this will be fun :).
WHAAAAAT????? How dare! I loved that song! It was so relaxing and soothing and yet eerie and inspiring......and I couldn't help but picture the Lonely Mountain with strings of mist floating around it with a sunrise in the background as I listened.....sigh.
      YESH.
IKR though. And it's so much more fun to wrap them, too. With gift bags you just....put something in a bag. If I wanted to spend the rest of my life putting things in bags, I would be a grocery store cashier.
      What sort of soap?
I have heard of this song, and everyone is saying they hate it. I have not listened to it for fear it shall get stuck in my head and ruin my childhood. (I did watch that show a lot, although even as a kid I was outraged that the redheaded boy, what's his face, always got to be in charge and the girls always had side roles. EQUALITY FOR THE WIN.)

    2. Really? I thought it was just...weird.
Idk. I just know it smelled good so I bought it.
YES I LOVED THAT SHOW. I don't remember what I thought of the characters though. But YESSSSS! EQUALITY FOR ALL!!

  2. Oh gee! You have quite the problem with Thrandul, don't you?
    The answers were:
1.21 GIGAWATS! (Back to the future)
You got the second one right- gold star for you. And yes you should watch it because it is very silly and one of my favorite movies.
The third qrestion was from The Princess Bride, which everyone should watch. Iz fabulous. Count Rugen killed his father, if you were wondering.
    4) DINGDINGDINGDING you are correct. The movie is Galaxy Quest, which is a spoof on every sci fi movie/ tv show ever made.

You need not worry about being lame- all of these movies were made before I was even born. My parents had watched them before and on Friday nacho night they said "hey I wonder if the kids would like____?"
I realize now that I probably should have done questions that require no background knowledge and stuck to the "let's talk about you" question archetype.
Oh well. It can't be a HUGE problem when I blunder about talking of my favorite movies.

Today I feel like parsley. Maybe.
-Gwen who may or may not be parsley, providing that parsley is even a vegetable.

    1. Yesh.
      2. Yay! I like gold stars :). My grandmother has a little box of gold stars. They're not stickers; they're old, so you have to lick the back to get them to stick. But they're still fun :).
      3. I must watch that movie.
      4. YAAAY I did something right woohoo :). Sounds like an interesting movie. I must check it out.
      Ok, good. :)
Friday Nacho Nights sound yummy. I love nachos, but my mother is the type who won't allow me to eat them because they're not whole-grain or an organic vegetable. Luckily, though, my father is a pushover, so when we go to the ballpark or mall I can usually convince him to let me get some. :)
Nah, your questions were fine! I liked the guessing game bit, and they were fun to answer anyway. :)
Half of Google says it's a veggie and half a herb. Honestly Google, get your act together. :P
But you can be parsley anyway, whatever it is. :)

    2. WAIT A MINUTE WAIT A MINUTE WAIT AMINUTE!
Nachos can be as healthy and whole grain as you please- you've got your organic corn chips and your lean ground turkey and your SHREDDED cheese.
Nacho cheese sauce is just disgusting. *shudders*
Anyway, then you can at some whole black beans (not refried) for protein.
THIS WILL SATISFY YOUR OVERLY HEALTH- CONCIOUS MOTHER, I AM SURE OF IT!
Really you just need to loose the appalling drippy cheese sauce of death.
-Gwen who is both a vegetable and an herb, according to Google.
