  1. "Only the chains of your hands can bind the wings of my soul" I really like that. And this photo shoot was really great!! I love the black and white and there are a lot of really amazing angles. I especially like the first and the eighth one.

  3. Dang it. Words aren't coming today. What is a soul- like if we're talking about hands, that's in the physical sense, so do we call souls metaphysical? There has got to be a better for that. I just can't think of it. But those metaphorical hands(only metaphorical now because of the chains. They're still physical too.) binding something so [word! Darn it! Word!] as a soul must be (aha! Here's a better reason for why they're metaphorical!) alluding to something greater than just hands, something powerful enough to bind a soul. Perhaps an attitude. Society?

What did I just write? It sounds like a bunch of gibberish from the mouth of an easily distracted philosopher squirrel. This is a prime example of pseudo-intellectual geek talk gone horribly wrong. Was there even a point to it? Maybe I'll make more sense to myself if I put it in caveman talk. GWEN CONFUZZLED. HAND NO BIND SOUL. DEEP MEANING? TOO HARD THINK. GRAAAH. PRETTY PICTURE. KANANI YES. COMMENT? WORDS ANGER!

    Ugh.

    1. I originally intended it to be like when someone comes along and takes advantage of/abuses another person, but I like your idea about society better.

  5. These photos are great Ellie! It looks like gold to me, not really black and white. That may just be my eye-sight.. I love the title of the post and Kanani's shoes are fabulous :-)
