Candle Favorites

~ All candles found at Bath and Body Works ~

..........

So I may or may not have recently gotten obsessed with candles?

Blame Zoella.

Although I am the type of person who would probably buy a candle and then burn it once, if at all, and never use it again. So for now, I am regulating myself to looking at pictures of candles on the Internet.

BUT BUT BUT LAST CHRISTMAS BATH AND BODY WORKS HAD THIS AMAZING COOKIE DOUGH SCENTED CANDLE AND IF THEY COME OUT WITH IT AGAIN I AM SO BUYING IT.

Well, I think that's all for today. :) Do you like candles? What are your favorite scents?

Namarië,
Ellie

  1. smelly candles are fiend.
I pretty much dislike everything with an artificial smell. Perfumes, colognes (actually I call them Man Perfume to bother my friends.), those little car trees, new car smell, scented soap, hand sanitizer.
    LOATHE THEM
But if someone made a perfume or candle that smelled like rain or dirt or grass, I would buy the heck out of it (but only if it smelled like the real deal.)

Candles without smelly bits are nice. When mom lets us have candles on the table (and she's not around) dad and I will put chips in the flame just to see what will happen. (nothing particularly interesting. just burnt chips.) One time I put a page if the newspaper in that candle and set it on fire*, which freaked me out a little bit, so I tossed it in the sink. That is the story of why im not allowed around candles anymore.
Another thing i used to do with candles was play with the wax. I like all the old ones that are drippy. you could make nice little drip sculptures out of that stuff.

*don't even bother asking what the hell i was thinking. I wasn't.

    1. Yeah, I tend not to like really sweet smells. But tart or citrus-y ones I love. And the natural ones, just like you said. I kid you not I went to Bath and Body Works with my friends once and they had like ten billion hand sanitizers with smells ranging from honey to doughnuts and I almost bought the one that smelled like water. xD
Ah. Have you put anything else in?
      Hah, I would do that.
I liked to take my nail and carve lines into our fancy decorative candles that we put up all over and never light. It drives my mom crazy :)

    2. water is good.
Actually, when we went camping with Tracy, Dad and I wanted to drop oreo fluff into the campfire to see what it would do (and because oreos are inferior junk food) but tracy said no because that's not what food is for. (She isnt very innovative, is she?) SO daddy and I organized a sneaky operation to drop an oreo in the fire, which was harder than it looked.
When we finally achieved our goal, the fluff sizzled beautifully.
      ...
      Actually it wasn't that interesting.

I DO THAT TOO! that is the other reason why im not allowed near candles.

    3. very good.
      Tracy is silly.
They are inferior. In fact, they are fiend.
It sounds pretty though. I can just imagine the orange and purple licking the white fluff as it slowly sizzles into black....

  3. @Gwen: I would pay good money for a candle that smelled like rain.

Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake and Salted Caramel sound like they'd smell super good. I don't think I've ever had a candle but now I want to go buy some. Thanks, Ellie. xD

  4. Oh I love candles!!! Except I never actually use them. I'm pretty sure I have two at least and then some mini ones but I always forget I use them.
