Writing Prompt Contest

HEY Y'ALL.

Due to the positive response on my last post, I have decided to hold a writing prompt contest!

Rules:

1. Choose a prompt and write a piece from it! It can be of any genre and any format - short story, poem, fanfiction, play script, diary entry, etc. It can also be of any length, though I'd prefer it to be a few chapters or less so I can read it in a timely fashion.

2. Post your entry on your blog (or another social media you have, if you prefer - just make sure I don't have to have an account to view it. Right now, I only have Instagram, Blogger, and Pinterest accounts.) In your post, please try to include the above image. You may also email me your entry if you like - simply copy and paste your piece into the contact form in my sidebar, and send it.

3. Comment on this post saying you entered with a link to the entry. If you emailed me your entry, please comment saying you emailed me. Otherwise, if I don't get it for some reason, I'll never know you entered and I can't contact you to arrange another way for me to view your entry.

4. Slap the above image on your sidebar/awards and tags page.

5. You have from today, September 15th until next Saturday, September 26th at 11:59 pm Central Time.

There will be at least a first place, and maybe also a second and/or third, depending on how many people enter. The winner(s) can have a guest post as their prize if they want, but if they don't want to that's chill too.

Questions you might have:

Can I use more than one prompt? Absolutely! Your piece can be written from any combination of prompts.

Can I enter more than one piece? No. You can post as many pieces as you want - and they can be drawn from as many prompts as you want - but you must choose just one writing piece to enter.

Is there any way I can gain extra entries? Again, no.

Do I have to have a blog to enter? Again, no! If you don't have a blog, you can email me your entry through the contact form in my sidebar. (Just copy and paste your entry into the email, and comment below as stated above.)

The Prompts:

If you have any more questions, feel free to email me or comment below (and I'll add your question to the post, if that's okay with you).

WELL.

PLANT A TREE.

HUG A DWARF.

AND REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE ALL VERY BEAUTIFUL PICKLES.

Namarië,
Ellie
