~ Made Of ~

I am made of the burning fire that up and consumes you.

I am made of twinkling white stars.

I am made of the clean smell of new books.

I am made of the deep and wide and private realm of my own imagination.

I am made of salt in chocolate and pimentos in olives.

I am made of energetic jazz music floating out of a club into the silent city night.

I am made of pastel apartments and iron-wrought balconies and European side streets.

I am made of the crashing of the waves on the shore and the smell of salt in the air and the creaking of the ship beneath your feet as you set sail into the promising beyond.

I am made of a pen and paper, which are all I need.

What are you made of?

    I'll stop yelling.

I am made of ivy climbing up old bricks
fictional worlds, far away galaxies and nebulae
black coffee, black tea, black tees
art museums and cloudy skies, rain to wash everything away
trees in the spring with their brand new leaves
    acrylic paints and mechanical pencils
    silence

    and thought

    AND VOLUME AND STRANGENESS

    a detached kind of calm
    and loneliness and octopuses.

I'm feeling like I strayed away from the deep things and feelings you get when you zoom way out and see the universe as a tiny speck and wound up just describing my aesthetic.
    oops.
maybe I'll come back and fix it later.

      Black just makes everything better.'
Acrylics are awesome. I've only used them a couple times in art class but I love how colorful they are.

Nah, I described my aesthetic for half of it too. I don't think it needs fixing - it's quite lovely.
