Current TBR Pile

Hey, young bloods!

If you're like me, you love reading and have a lot of books on your TBR pile. Today, I figured I'd share with you my current list of TBRs - I hope you enjoy. :)

In no particular order:

Made You Up by Francesca Zappia

After seeing a review of this book on Áine's blog, I fell in love with it and immediately added it to my TBR list. It's a story from the point of view of Alex, a paranoid schizophrenic determined to stay sane long enough to make it into a good college. It sounds incredibly interesting and eye-opening, and I'm quite excited to read it.

The Vampire Armand by Anne Rice

The next book in The Vampire Chronicles, The Vampire Armand is Armand's life story, from his childhood growing up in Russia in the 15th century to the present day. I'm already 99% sure my favorite part will be when he's with Marius in Venice because SHIPS Y'ALL. This will also be the first since the very first book in the series to not have been narrated by Lestat, so I'm quite excited to get a better sense of the other vampires' voices - in this novel, specifically Armand.

The Path of Daggers by Robert Jordan

AT LAST I KNOW WHAT NYNAEVE (dark hair) LOOKS LIKE I'VE JUST NEVER BEEN ABLE TO PICTURE HER AND AT LAST I KNOW. But I seriously demand a redrawing of Elayne (blond) and Aviendha (redhead) - they look nothing like they're supposed to look, in my mind. Especially Elayne.

The next book in the Wheel of Time series, this book continues the epic of the Dragon Reborn and his forces gathering to overcome the Dark Lord, Shai'tan. (But shhhh don't say his name out loud.) We'll find out what happens to Mat with the Seanchan invasion of Ebou Dar (REAL NICE CLIFFHANGER THERE RJ REAL NICE), as well as discover what really happens when you use the Bowl of Winds.

The Kill Artist by Daniel DaSilva

The Kill Artist is the first in a book series about an art-restorer-turned-spy named Gabriel Allon. I'm quite excited to pick this up, but I want to wait until after I've finished either The Vampire Chronicles or The Wheel of Time so I'm not reading three series at the same time. xD

Well, that's all for today! What's currently on your TBR pile? Comment below; I'm always looking for some new books to try!

(Psst! Tomorrow is the last day to enter in my writing showcase. Do check it out; I'd really appreciate it!)

    1. AHHHHH SAAAAAAME.
Go Set a Watchman! That one was really interesting, especially considering it was written before TKAM.
      Well, that's a stupid reason.

  2. Ooh, the first book looks like it would be super interesting! My TBR list is ridiculously long, but at the top currently are An Abundance of Katherines, the full version of Les Mis, as well as Magnus Chase :)
