A Novel Idea #1

Hey, young bloods! This week I'm linking up with Sky and Ashley for A Novel Idea, a fabulous new writing link-up. This week, the prompt is to describe one of your characters without using a picture. I've chosen my smol assassin, Xavius Blackgrail, and I hope you enjoy! :)

---

He was the personification of winter, ice and snow incarnate.

Like the winter storm, he was always cold. His hands were long and pale and freezing to the touch, so much so that one was usually startled and jerked away when they first shook hands with him. (He kept his hands like this on purpose - he liked seeing others' reactions to the cold.) His eyes were neither dynamic nor vibrant; they could not be compared to grey seas or silver storms. Instead, they were hard and immobile, little balls of ice set in his skull. He was distant too, like the winter storm - distant and uncaring towards all the suffering he caused.

But, like the winter, he would always melt when faced with spring.

I hope you enjoyed that small snippet of writing! Have a lovely day, and remember that you are all very beautiful pickles. <3

Ellie
