Current TBR Pile #7
SOS. MAYDAY. MY TBR PILE IS EATING ME ALIVE. SEND HELP IMMEDIATELY. PLEASE.
Reboot by Amy Tintera
This kind of looks like a typical dystopian? But I sneaked a preview of it on Goodreads and it looked WAY too well-written to pass up.
You Know Me Well by Nina LaCour and David Levithan
LGBTQ+ fiction is my jam, even though it mainly occurs in contemporaries (which I rarely read). But this looks like a fun story with the perfect balance of drama and fluff, so I'm excited to try it out!
Hunted by Meagan Spooner
MARCH 14 2017, FOLKS. PUT IT ON YOUR CALENDAR.
I know I'm usually not a fan of retellings, but this one looks really interesting - the Beauty is 10 times more kickass than the Beast, and THAT COVER. I confess, half the reason this is on the TBR pile is because of the cover.
The Rose & the Dagger by Renée Ahdieh
BECAUSE AFTER THE FIRST BOOK I'M ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT. I need to know what happens next, pronto.
It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
I recently went to Minnesota to visit a couple of my cousins, and they took us to this adorable local bookshop. This was one of the books that caught my eye, and I bought it after remembering how Emily and Faith had recommended it.
The Walls Around Us by Nova Ren Suma
I almost bought this several months ago in New Orleans, along with Truthwitch and The Blackthorn Key. However, I wasn't quite sure I wanted it, so I put it back. I finally bought it in Minnesota, and I'm super excited to finally get to read it! Plus, that cover. I am crying.

Let's chat! What's on your TBR pile? Have you read any of these? And are there any sequels or new releases you NEED, pronto? Comment below, and remember that you are all very beautiful pickles. <3

If you like LGBTQ+ fiction, I would highly recommend Draw the Line by Laurent Linn. These all look like wonderful books!

These all look so good! I'm hoping to read The Wrath and the Dawn soon; I feel like the last person on earth who hasn't read it yet, lol.
ReplyDeleteIt's so good; I hope you enjoy it! I know what you mean - I feel the same way about V.E. Schwab and Maggie Stiefvater.

I also recommend It's Kind of a Funny Story - it is FANTASTIC. And also, I really want to know what you think of You Know Me Well - I love Nina LaCour but I'm not a fan of David Levithan so I'm curious as to what it's like.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'll definitely let you know :)
