Current TBR Pile #10

G O O D R E A D S. The salvation and damnation of my TBR pile.

Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy

I've always wanted to read this series - it looks so incredibly unique! I'm determined to get to it soon.

Leviathan by Scott Westerfield

SO MANY PEOPLE have been screaming at me to read this book. So FINE, I WILL. YOU WIN.

(Also, I'm currently trying to write a steampunk-esque novella, so I suppose actually reading something steampunk would be a lot of help.)

The Whispering Skull by Jonathan Stroud

After really loving book no. 1 in the Lockwood & Co. series, I can't wait to start this next one! I can't imagine what trouble Lockwood has succeeded in getting himself into this time.

Resistance by Jaye L. Knight

I admit, I was hesitant about this one for a while. While it looked intriguing and well-written, it's Christian fiction, and I'm afraid it will end up being too preachy or homophobic. However, you don't know until you try, so I'm giving it a shot!

(PLUS THE COVER IS SO PRETTY AHHHHH.)

The Cabinet of Wonders by Marie Rutkoski

This looks like such a fun story! I love the fairytale vibe.

Crossroads of Twilight by Robert Jordan

The Wheel of Time series and I have a fickle relationship, clearly.

I've decided to return to this series for a while, although it may not be for a little bit of time since it's not super high priority. It'll hopefully happen, though!

Let's chat! Have you read any of these books? What books are currently on your TBR pile? Comment below, and have an awesome day.

  1. Ooh more books to add to my TBR list, exciting. I have been wanting to read Cabinet of Wonders too, it sounds so whimsical. I have too many books on my TBR list though, lol.

Also I just wanted to say hi because I've just started my blog and I think yours looks awesome (I love the design) and I can't wait to read more of your posts :)

  7. All of these look really good; I'll have to pick up a few of them someday. Right now my reading for English class (Pride and Prejudice) is taking up most of my reading time, but I'm really enjoying it! :D

  10. Skulduggery Pleasant isn't one of my favourites, but it's definitely a fun read so I hope you like it when you get around to it. I'm so behind on the Wheel of Time books! I saw someone reading one on the train the other day and felt bad at how long it's been since I picked one up.
