Current TBR Pile #12

My book-buying instincts officially have no chill.

All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood

This isn't usually the type of book I would go in for, but it looks so beautifully-written that I simply can't resist.

It Looks Like This by Rafi Mittlefehldt

I - I just - I already know this book is going to rip me to shreds emotionally.

The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly

This looks like such a sweet and whimsical read - exactly the kind of thing I need going into exam season.

The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith

This reminds me of the Mrs. Pollifax books, one of my favorite series of all time.

Mrs. Kennedy and Me: An Intimate Memoir by Clint Hill

OOPS THE HISTORY NERD IN ME IS KICKING IN. I love learning about the presidents, and this looks like a really interesting and unique take on the White House.

Welcome to Night Vale by Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor

I've tried listening to WTNV multiple times, but I just can't sit still long enough to listen to an audio recording. I think the book will be a much better fit for me.

Let's chat! Have you read any of these books? What books are on your TBR pile? Comment below, and have a lovely day.

  1. I've owned 'The Book of Lost Things' since it was first published and I STILL haven't read it... I still think it looks so good, so what is wrong with me?!

    1. I know the feeling - I've unintentionally done that with a lot of books I own.
