Current TBR Pile #15

Note to self: When reading obnoxiously long books, do so quickly. Otherwise, your TBR pile will explode in your face.

Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling

The textbook, not the screenplay. (I've already seen the movie; I don't know why I'd need to read it again in book form??) I'd wanted to read it for a while before the movie came out, but especially since seeing Newt Scamander and all his fantastic beasts brought to life on screen.

Commonwealth by Ann Patchett

Not gonna lie: the original reason I was attracted to this book was solely because of the cover. IT'S A GREAT COVER, OK, FIGHT ME. But the writing and story also look pretty good as well!

Knife of Dreams by Robert Jordan

FINALLY, A WHEEL OF TIME BOOK IN WHICH SHIT IS ACTUALLY REPORTED TO HAPPEN.

Letters From Father Christmas by J.R.R. Tolkien

These are literally Christmas letters Tolkien wrote "from" Santa to his kids and if that fact alone doesn't fill you with feels I don't know what to do with you.

The Raven King by Nora Sakavic

After enjoying The Foxhole Court, I'm quite excited to embark on the next book in the series. I MUST FIND OUT MORE ABOUT ANDREW. I MUST.

Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia

I've squealed about this book plenty on here already, but, although the concept doesn't interest me too much, it's by Francesca freaking Zappia. Therefore, the writing is almost certainly going to be mind-blowing.
