Winter Bookish Bingo Wrap-Up

by - 6:11 PM

Hey, young bloods! Last December, I discovered an awesome seasonal challenge hosted by Bekka @ Pretty Deadly Reviews. It's called Bookish Bingo, and it consists of a bingo card of different types of books (contemporaries, blue covers, etc.). If you read any of the books that fall under a category on the bingo card, you get to mark the space off! Enough spaces and you get a bingo. It's a really fun way to organize my tbr and discover new books. This winter is the first season I've done it, and here are my results:

(As always, titles are links to those that have reviews.)

Sequel: Tris's Book by Tamora Pierce (4/5)

Own Voices: A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry (4/5)

Dec, Jan, Feb Release: Windwitch by Susan Dennard (3/5)

Crime: Ruler of the Night by David Morrell (5/5)

Survival: Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli (5/5)

Blue Cover: Blank Spaces by Cass Lennox (4/5)

LGBT: It Looks Like This by Rafi Mittlefehldt (4/5)

Super Hyped: Goliath by Scott Westerfeld (4/5)

Urban Fantasy: Durarara!!, Vol. 1 by Ryohgo Narita (4/5)

I encourage everyone to check out this challenge! You can easily tailor it to your own tbr and reading goals, and it's a ton of fun. I'm looking forward to the spring challenge reveal!

Let's chat! Do you do reading challenges? Have you read any of these books or types of books of late? What were your favorite winter reads? Comment below, and remember that you are all very beautiful pickles.

  1. aww this looks really neat!! I've seen a ton of bookish bingos on ig but never done them, and now I think I might just give it a shot. Might help get some older books off my tbr that I keep neglecting. :3
