Current TBR Pile #28

So remember that one time my TBR was sorta kinda maybe almost under control?

Yeah. Not anymore.

The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur

I really liked Kaur's first book, so I'm excited to see how this one will turn out!

The Dirty Streets of Heaven by Tad Williams

This looks like a Supernatural, Good Omens-esque parody of religion and the Christian concepts of Heaven and Hell. I love poking fun at religion, so count me in!

The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss

It took me, what, two months to read The Name of the Wind? So I don't think I'll be diving into this one anytime soon. Maybe over Christmas break; we'll see. I do want to read it, however.

The Thief Who Knocked on Sorrow's Gate by Michael McClung

I liked the first book in this series. I adored the second. BUT THE SECOND ENDED SO HAPPILY. I DON'T WANT THERE TO BE A THIRD BOOK. I DON'T LIKE THAT THERE'S A THIRD BOOK.

I'm going to read the third book.

Once and For All by Sarah Dessen

I usually wouldn't like this book. You know, the girl-meets-boy, fluffy, contemporary, romantic kind of book. That Book. But Sarah Dessen writes very well, so this one actually looks like one I'd enjoy!

What Happened by Hillary Clinton

I wasn't going to read this. I'm all right with Hillary Clinton, and I certainly prefer her to Trump, but I've always thought she's somewhat corrupt and not the world's kindest person. That being said, I was at Barnes and Noble the other day and saw this book. I flipped through it out of casual interest, and it looks really fascinating.

So I bought it.

And now I'm reading it next.

Let's chat! Have you read any of these books? What are the latest additions to your TBR? Comment below, and have a fabulous day. <3

'i love poking fun at religion' OK BUT IF THAT DOESN'T DESCRIBE ME THEN IDK WHAT DOES.
